A real person calls in 5 minutes

Tell us what happened. A real person, not a scheduler, calls you right back, day or night.

When you submit, our on-call team gets a text instantly. You'll get a confirmation text right away.

Got it. We’re calling you within 5 minutes.

Keep your phone nearby. If water is still spreading, shut off the main valve now, it’s usually in the basement or crawl space, on the street-facing wall.

Why Highwater

One local company, whatever the disaster

Franchises route your call to whichever crew is free. Highwater keeps it local: two
Wasatch bases, one accountable team from emergency to rebuild, and paperwork
your adjuster can approve without a fight.

Two bases, both sides of the mountain

Crews stage in West Jordan and on Prospector Ave in Park City, so help comes
from minutes away, day or night.

Certified for every loss type

IICRC-certified crews handle the water, fire, mold, and biohazard work to the
written standard each one requires.

The claim is part of the job

Xactimate scopes, direct billing to any carrier, and answers for your adjuster, on
every project, not as a favor.

Finished means verified

Drying logs, clearance tests, final walkthroughs. Whichever service you needed,
you get proof it worked before we call it done.

Insurance claims

Your claim, carried from first photo to final invoice

Most homeowners file one claim like this in a lifetime. We have filed hundreds:
water, fire, storm, and mold losses, with every major carrier in Utah. You look
after your family; we carry the paperwork.

What we take off your plate

1

Evidence before cleanup

The cause, the spread, and every damaged item, photographed and logged before
anything moves.

2

A scope in your adjuster’s own format

Estimates written in Xactimate, so nothing needs translating or re-measuring.

3

One point of contact for the carrier

We field the adjuster’s questions and defend the scope. You stay out of the
middle.

4

Direct billing on covered work

The invoice goes to your insurer, not your credit card. No fronting costs and
waiting.

5

A deductible you saw coming

Your expected out-of-pocket, in writing, before work starts. No surprises at the
end.

Typically covered

Sudden, accidental losses: the pipe that burst overnight, the kitchen fire, the
windstorm that opened the roof, the water heater that let go. This is the damage
Utah homeowner policies exist to pay for.

Often excluded

Slow damage: the fitting that wept for a season, mold from long-ignored moisture,
wear and deferred maintenance. Ground flooding needs separate flood coverage.
If your claim looks shaky, you hear it from us first, before the carrier says it.

Covered work should cost you the deductible
That is the goal on every claim. If a coverage gap appears, we hand you the
documentation to push back.
We answer to you, not a carrier network
No program memberships steering the scope. Your insurer gets cooperation; you
get an advocate.
Everything in writing
Scope, schedule, and expected out-of-pocket on paper before demolition starts.

The step-by-step walkthrough lives in our guide to filing a restoration claim in Utah. And because mitigation and reconstruction stay under one roof, your claim closes on one scope and one file, not two contractors’ worth.

Salt Lake Valley

Run from West Jordan. Valley calls skew to sump pumps losing to the high water
table, supply lines aging out in established neighborhoods, and kitchen fires that
leave smoke three rooms deep.

Park City & the Wasatch Back

Run from Prospector Ave. Up the hill it is hard freezes, ice dams under heavy
snow, and second homes where a small problem gets weeks alone before anyone
notices. We watch for all three.

FAQ

Straight answers, before you call

Which service do I actually need?
Most losses cross categories, so start by telling us what happened rather than guessing a category yourself. A fire usually brings a water problem with it; a flood often invites mold. On the first call we match you to the right service, and if it's a covered claim, your real cost is usually just your deductible.
Is the inspection really free?
Yes. Inspections and leak detection cost nothing, and they end with a straight
answer: what is damaged, what it takes to fix, and roughly what that costs, in
writing.
A fire also soaked the house. Is that one job or two?
One. Fire losses are usually water losses too, and flood losses often turn into mold.
Our crews handle the overlap under a single scope, so nothing falls between two
contractors and the claim stays one file.
Do I have to use the restoration company my insurer suggests?
No. In Utah, you choose who works on your home. We cooperate with every
carrier and bill them directly, but we belong to no one’s preferred-vendor
program. Our only client is you.
Who does the rebuild once the mess is gone?
We do. Reconstruction is in-house, so the crew that dried or cleaned the structure
hands off to a rebuild team working the same scope. One schedule, and no re-
bidding the second half of your project.
Can you take on offices, HOAs, and multi-unit buildings?
Yes. Commercial restoration is its own practice here, with after-hours crews and
phased work plans that keep a business trading while we restore the rest of the
space.
What happens to our furniture and belongings during the work?
If the structure needs clearing, our contents team photographs and inventories
every item, cleans what is salvageable, and stores it until move-back day. The
inventory doubles as your contents claim.
What should we do before the crew arrives?
Get people and pets clear, stop the source if you can reach it safely, and
photograph everything before touching it. Skip the fans, on sewage or suspected
mold they spread the problem. The first-hour checklist walks through the rest.
Do you only work on emergencies?
No. Plenty of our schedule is planned work: mold found during a remodel, storm
repairs booked after a tarp-off, pack-outs ahead of a renovation, and full rebuilds.
Emergencies get the 24/7 line; everything else gets a scheduled visit that starts on
time.

Something just went wrong?

Water rising, smoke settling, or a backup you should not touch, two local crews
are on call right now.
